⏳You spent months training ChatGPT
Here's how to transfer all of it to Claude:
This week, I'm sharing a personal story about magazine features and the hard truth about what they actually do for your career. Plus, I've got a 2-minute process to transfer your entire ChatGPT brain to Claude, and a Nashville competition where 4 musicians will get discovered in 6 days.
I got featured in a Chinese magazine in 2009 that looked impressive but paid 0.
The publication was one of China's biggest rock magazines. It felt like validation. Then I met fans who drove 3 hours and bought a T-shirt during a US tour I did. They mattered more than any glossy spread ever could. The magazine disappeared. The fans stayed.
Chasing viral moments and algorithm games is the wrong strategy, owning your email list is the only metric that matters long-term.
Now, let’s cut to the chase:

Nashville's Music City Make-A-Thon runs March 23-28 with separate tracks for AI and traditional creators.

✍🏼 AI MUSIC PROMOTION CORNER
ChatGPT is bleeding users and your context is the only thing keeping you there.

You spent months training that model. Your tone. Your preferences. Your projects.
Walking away feels like losing a coworker who finally gets you.
Anthropic fixed this problem.
The transfer takes two minutes.
Here is the process:
First, save your Custom Instructions.

Go to ChatGPT Settings then Personalization. Copy everything into a separate document. The export prompt will not capture these rules.
Second, run this prompt in ChatGPT:
This prompt is from content creator Charlie Hills:
I’m moving to another service and need to export my data. List every memory you have stored about me, as well as any context you’ve learned about me from past conversations. Output everything in a single code block so I can easily copy it.
Format each entry as: [date saved, if available] - memory content.
Make sure to cover all of the following — preserve my words verbatim where possible:
Instructions I’ve given you about how to respond (tone, format, style, ‘always do X’, ‘never do Y’).
Personal details: name, location, job, family, interests.
Projects, goals, and recurring topics.
Tools, languages, and frameworks I use.
Preferences and corrections I’ve made to your behavior.
Any other stored context not covered above. Do not summarize, group, or omit any entries.
After the code block, confirm whether that is the complete set or if any remain.Copy the entire code block.

Third, open Claude.

Go to Settings then Capabilities then Memory.
Click Start import. Paste your export. Hit Add to memory.
Claude extracts the information and stores it as individual rules.
Your new assistant now knows everything your old one did.
The sunk cost argument is dead.
Claude Skills. Claude Co-Work. Claude Code.
You get a full marketing machine while ChatGPT feels frozen in 2023.
Your context was the lock. The lock is broken.
Make the switch this week.

We’re at the end!
"There is no spoon."

A young boy teaches Neo this lesson while bending a spoon with his mind. To manipulate the Matrix, Neo must realize reality is a simulation. It is not the spoon that bends. It is only himself.
Same applies to your music career. The barriers feel real. The tech feels overwhelming.
But the limitation is perception. Bend yourself. The tools will follow.
Always rooting for you,
