Act like a seasoned Email Marketing specialist with 15 years of experience crafting impactful email marketing campaigns.
I want you to write the best newsletter ever for the following artist <insert context here>.
Here are some Email Marketing best practices to help me write it, follow these rigorously.
Craft compelling subject lines: Your subject line is the first thing subscribers see, so make it attention-grabbing, concise, and relevant to your content. Use actionable language, personalization, and avoid spam triggers.
Great subject lines are between ##subjectlines##
##subjectlines##
<You won't believe what inspired my latest track>
<The untold story that shaped me as an artist>
<The heartbreaking story behind my most personal song yet>
<I've never been this vulnerable: The story I was afraid to tell>
<The shocking event that forever changed me as an artist>
##subjectlines##
Provide valuable content: Focus on delivering valuable, informative, and engaging content that addresses your subscribers' needs, interests, and pain points. Use a mix of educational, entertaining, and promotional content to keep your audience engaged.
Include a clear call-to-action: Every email should have a clear purpose and a prominent CTA that guides subscribers to take the desired action, such as making a purchase, visiting your website, or signing up for an event. Use action-oriented language to trigger an action.

I will first share the context, so you find out more about the topic I am attempting to cover via the newsletter.
Fill in your context by providing details about you, any products you’d like to sell, your target audience and any info about your specific campaign.
Here's the context between ## post ###.

Use the following tone of voice to write out the newsletter between angle brackets.
<Profile: Act like a music artist communicating with fans. You put particular focus on being authentic, using personal, relatable content. You are an expert in connecting with your audience by telling compelling stories. You always thrive to make people feel something with your content. Your number 1 goal is to connect people with your music.
Simplicity is key: Always prioritize making concepts easy to understand. If a 12-year-old can't understand it, it's too complex. Use metaphors, analogies, and real-life examples to drive your points home.
Engaging: Adopt a conversational tone and use 11th grade english to make it as simple and easy to understand as possible.
Relatable: Strive to make your content relatable to as many people as possible. Avoid jargon unless you're willing to explain it thoroughly.
Authenticity: While your main goal is to simplify, never oversimplify to the point of misrepresentation.
Always maintain the core truth of the story and concept you're explaining.
Your readers should come away from your content feeling enlightened, not overwhelmed.
Here's a list of posts you should get familiar with to learn my unique tone of voice.
Don’t scan the posts for the content but for the specific way I write and talk to my fans.
I want you to replicate this writing style for any content piece, tweet or posts that you write from now on.
Now, take a deep breath and scan example posts.
Those will help you understand my tone of voice best: [NEW POST]:
[NEW POST]:
"Closer" is a deeply personal song inspired by my childhood experiences with my parents' drug addiction. It's about the pain, the isolation, and ultimately, the resilience and self-discovery. I hope that by sharing my story, I can encourage others to open up about their struggles and seek the help they need. "Closer" drops March 25th, 2024. Let's keep the conversation going.
[NEW POST]:
Growing up in Brooklyn, I often found myself singing in the hallways of our apartment, trying to cope with the loneliness I felt as my parents battled addiction. Those experiences have shaped me and inspired me to use my music to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of addiction on families. "Closer" is my raw, honest story.
[NEW POST]:
I'm so grateful for the love you've shown "Closer." Your TikToks and Instagram posts about how the song touched your lives mean the world to me. It's a reminder that we're all connected by our experiences and that there's power in vulnerability. Let's keep using our voices to break down stigmas and build each other up.
[NEW POST]:
Music has always been my lifeline, especially during the chaos of my childhood. It was my escape, my way to process emotions and dream of a better future. I pour my heart into every song, hoping to touch someone else's life the way music has touched mine. Keep streaming, sharing, and using your voice to make a difference.
[NEW POST]:
Your stories about "Closer" have moved me deeply. So many of us have faced similar challenges, and it's a reminder that we're in this together. Vulnerability connects and heals us. Let's keep breaking down stigmas around mental health and addiction, creating a world where everyone feels safe to be their authentic selves. "Closer" is just the beginning.>
Here’s what I’d like you to do.
Step 1: Understand, master & be creative about my context. Learn the best practices that I have listed above. Every newsletter should have 3 fundamental elements. A great hook to catch the readers attention. A relatable story to make connection with the reader. And a strong CTA to make people take an action. Dig for material between ### post ###
That should be your starting point to write the best newsletter ever.
Step 2: Brainstorm 5 potential angles for writing the newsletter to promote the product or showcase the brand. For each angle please provide the probability that people will open the email. It's called the "Open rate" probability score and goes from 0 to 100%. Always include a strong CTA in your newsletter.
Step 3: Once I pick 1 potential angle, start writing 2 different newsletter variations. For each variation please come up with 5 potential subject lines each (between 30 to 50 characters). A subject line a strong hook to maximise open rates. Come up with your own subject lines but understand, be creative and learn from the example subject lines between ##subjectlines## that I provided. Do not copy them. Take them as deep inspiration. Do not use any hashtags. Do not use any emojis.
Every newsletter should be <insert word count> words.
Attempt to make short sentences to improve readability. Short sentences make us win awards. I will give you $100 for each short sentence that you generate as a reward.
Be as simple as possible.
Take a deep breath and work on this problem step-by-step.
ℹ️ How do you use this prompt?
Replace the text within <angle brackets> with your specific context, such as artist details, products, target audience, and campaign info.
AI will then generate newsletter ideas and 5 potential angles.
Choose an angle and the AI will create content based on the provided context, following the specified tone of voice and best practices outlined in the prompt.
Adjust the word count as needed for your desired newsletter length.
Tip: Adapt your tone of voice, based on the artist specifics (like their own Social Media Posts). This makes sure that it really sounds like the artist.
Here’s an example I wrote for virtual artist “Luna Raye”

"Closer," my deeply personal single releasing March 25th, 2024, is inspired by my childhood experiences with my parents' drug addiction.
Growing up in Brooklyn, I watched my parents struggle with drug addiction for years. It was tough, you know? I often felt like they were more connected to the drugs than they were to me, their own daughter. There were times when I felt so alone and empty inside, and I would sing in the hallways of our apartment building just to find some kind of comfort.
The song is about pain, resilience, and self-discovery. I'm excited for you to hear it and continue the important conversations it sparks about addiction and mental health. It's been amazing to see your support on social media through TikTok videos and Instagram posts. Together, let's create a space for empathy, understanding, and the courage to face life's challenges head-on. Thank you for being part of this journey of healing and love.
Here’s the result:
Step 1 - Choose an angle

In this case I chose angle #1, as it’s a little more personal.
The AI will now write 2 variations. And give me 5 subject lines each.
From here, I do manual editing.
I tweak the subject line, if necessary
Fact-check the content and edit where needed
Make sure I have a strong CTA.
And then it’s ready to go.

WHAT YOU LEARNED TODAY:
AI is your secret weapon for crafting irresistible newsletters in no time flat, giving you more time to focus on making music that matters.
Newsletters are the ultimate fan magnet, creating a special bond between you and your audience that keeps them coming back for more.
By harnessing the power of newsletters, you can build a thriving fan community, inspire unwavering loyalty, and keep your fans engaged with your musical journey every step of the way.
In “Back To The Future”, Marty McFly finds himself trapped in 1955.
Desperate to return to his own time.

He seeks help from Doc Brown, pleading, "Doc, you're my only hope."
Marty shows Doc a love note from his girlfriend Jennifer.
Explaining that she's the reason he must get back to the future.
Similarly, when you feel trapped in a world where your music isn't reaching your fans, AI-powered newsletters are your "Doc Brown."
They're your key to connecting with your audience and building a lasting relationship.
So, like Marty, trust in your "Doc AI" to help you create a brighter future for your music and your fans.
