Step 1 - Open a board at riffle.studio and pick a start point:

Browse samples, add an instrument, or record audio.

Step 2 - Drag a sample onto your first stack to set the vibe:

Step 3 - Play a part yourself, two ways:

Pick one of Riffle's instruments, like the Electric Finger Bass or Lofi Bell Piano, and play it in on the A to L keys (tidy the notes after in the piano roll).

Or hit Record audio and lay down your own instrument or vocals through your mic.

Either way, your take lands as its own track.

Step 4 - Bring in the sous chef while your stack plays:

• Ask for parts: “give me some dusty synths that go with my drum loop.”

• Ask for theory: “give me a chord progression that fits these drums.”

Step 5 - Start a second stack to test another direction:
