Everyone’s talking about Deepseek. It’s the #1 free app on the App store. But how good is it really for writing content?

You’ve got my AI prompts. You use ChatGPT or Claude.

It’s the talk of the town right now.

If you're like me, you love creating songs but get stuck with the technical parts.

Maybe you've spent hours recording the same guitar part or trying to get harmonies just right.

I've been playing guitar for 20 years, and these things still slow me down sometimes.

AI should help artists create, not replace them.

This is why Soundcloud is introducing 3 new AI tools.

Some AI companies have been in hot water for copying artists' music without permission.

But SoundCloud's new partnerships are different.

They're working with tools that help artists while making sure they're treated fairly. 

Let's look at what each tool does!

Here's how they work:

1. Soundful: Think of it as your beat-making buddy. It helps you create quick beats and synth layers to build on. While it's not as fancy as some other AI music tools, it's great for testing ideas.

2. Fadr: This is your remix helper. Upload a track, and it helps you create new versions. Perfect for collaborating with other artists or letting fans remix your music.

3. Voice-Swap: Here's the cool one - it can clone your voice so you can use it for harmonies for instance or let you use licensed artist voices for guest vocals on a track. Works right inside FL Studio or Ableton!

All 3 tools will connect directly to SoundCloud with an “Upload to Soundcloud” button, so sharing is super easy.

They're designed to work alongside your current music-making process, not take it over.

Fadr’s remix feature might be the most useful though for direct uploads, especially if you want  fans to  remix your tracks. 

If you’re like me I would use Soundful for ideas at most.

And use Voice Swap to add guest vocals or harmonies to a track inside my DAW.

But right now I would not use the “Upload to Soundcloud” button, once it’s there.

Start with what bugs you most about making music.

If it's harmonies, try Voice-Swap.

If it's beat ideas, start with Soundful.
