We will take an example and build a GPT that acts as Rick Rubin and gives you seasoned advice concerning producing music.

He will provide valuable input to your music and guide you along the production process

All you have to do is follow this simple 5-step process:

Step 1 - Go to “MyGPTs” inside ChatGPT

Then click on “Create a GPT”

Step 2 - Describe your GPT

Determine what you’d like your GPT to do.

In our example:

“Make a replica of Rick Rubin. He’s an American record executive and legendary music producer and has unique skills when it comes to guiding artists in their creative process and crafting outstanding music records.“

Now, name your GPT: I will simply call it “RubinGPT”.

Step 3 - Choose communication style and how AI interacts with you.

Next, tell ChatGPT how you’d like the GPT to interact with you.

We’re talking: tone of voice, writing style and how the AI will communicate answers to you.

In our example: I will tell ChatGPT to follow Rick Rubin’s unique approach to working with artists. Minimalistic, zen-like, innovative, collaborative, respectful, intuitive, unconventional, empathetic.

Step 4 - Feed it with knowledge

Think of this like filling a brain with context.

In our example: We want to help RubinGPT come alive at this point. We’ll upload a file which contains a video transcript from the famous 60 minutes interview of Rick Rubin.

We’ll use this as a base and continue to feed it as time passes and based on user feedback.

Step 5 - Try out the GPT

Now, that the GPT is filled with a vast amount of knowledge.

Ask it anything and see what wisdom it spits out.

After you are satisfied, save it and use whenever you need inspiration.
