Midjourney has just released a new feature.

And it finally enables you to create consistent characters.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Go to Midjourney (via Discord)

Upload an image.

An image from the internet or one you created yourself.

Click on the image and copy the link

Step 2: Write the prompt and insert the URL

/imagine woman in a coffee shop sitting at a table --cref <Insert your URL> --cw 100

With the parameter --cref <URL> you tell MJ to take your reference image as a base for the character development.

With the parameter --cw <number> you can control how identical it should be.

• Set it to 100 to keep face and clothes identical.

• Setting it to 80 keeps the clothes the same.

• Setting it 60 sort of changes the clothes.

• Set it to 0 to not have an effect at all.

Step 3: The result:

Midjourney not only helps you create characters but:
